Practical Information

Best Time

March–May and September–November. Jiuzhaigou is especially popular in October when forests turn gold and red; expect higher demand.

Getting There

Fly into Chengdu Tianfu (TFU) or Shuangliu (CTU). Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport (JZH) has seasonal and schedule-dependent connections.

What to Bring

Comfortable shoes, layers for mountain temperature changes, any usual medication, and plenty of memory space for photos.
